Rules:
1) Only multilingual couples can enter the game under the condition that one member of the couple speaks far more of a particular language than the other member of the couple. For example, my wife speaks Arabic and I don't speak that much Arabic, so we can enter.
2) The student spouse is a judge only who is responsible for giving points to the teacher spouse when the teacher spouse teaches correctly according to the rules of the game.
3) The teacher spouse must teach words using ONLY a strict interpretation of Dr. Krashen's i + 1 language teaching method in which the teacher uses massive contextualization (aka scaffolding aka motherese) so that when the student spouse hears a new word uttered by the teacher spouse the context makes it clear to the student spouse exactly what the foreign word means because there is only one possible guess as to the meaning of the word.
4) At the end of each day the student spouse must grade the teacher spouse by giving the teacher spouse one point for each word the teacher spouse taught the student spouse in which the student spouse was able to guess the correct meaning of the new word on the first guess without ever being told the meaning of the word by the teacher spouse. If the teacher spouse translates the word the teacher spouse cannot earn a point.
5) The student spouse must post the words that the teacher spouse earned points on for each day within 24 hours or the points are forfeited. The point of the game is to motivate the teacher spouse to teach words by publicly recognizing the effort of the teacher spouse to teach words.
